Spring Time Around the World

Springtime Around the World is Viewpoint Photographic Art Center’s 2025 April juried exhibit theme. Spring is a time when colors burst, and fresh ideas emerge. We experience the soft pastels that erupt from winter grays, graceful translucent waves of green hillside grass, and the inevitable magic of the golden hour. During this time of year, a sense of newness and wonder surrounds us. We see beauty in nature, cracked sidewalks, and the reflection of clouds on skyscraper windows.

Jessica Layton, Professor of Photography at Sacramento City College, selected the exhibit from almost 250 entries. Thirty-seven photographers captured the visual wonders of the season, which are on view during Photography Month.
