Viewpoint is deeply appreciative of all donations. Through your generosity, we are able to continue to serve our community with meaningful programming which is created to unite the passion and appreciation for the photographic arts throughout our region. Please consider a donation to Viewpoint either during one of our fundraisers or anytime of the year. Our planned giving program is another option to create a lasting contribution to a photographic institution which has been serving this region for over thirty years. Please take a moment to read the overview and reach out if you would like to discuss a planned gift.

Leaving a Legacy: Planned Giving for a Bright Photographic Future

Viewpoint is the only nonprofit photographic art center in the region fully dedicated to the art of photography. We feel it is our responsibility to elevate the art of photography for all to enjoy and we do this through creative, diverse and inspiring programming.

Whether you’re enjoying one of our 22 annual exhibits, attending a workshop, a free lecture, monthly peer gathering, free community event or an educational outreach program, there is something for everyone. We feel that photography has the power to preserve moments, tell stories, and motivate future generations.

As a dedicated supporter of Viewpoint, you are essential to our mission. Now you can help ensure our legacy continues for generations to come—for photographers and observers alike.

By including Viewpoint in your planned giving, you can:

  • Sustain innovative exhibitions and programs.
  • Expand educational opportunities for photographers of all ages.
  • Strengthen community outreach and accessibility to the arts.
  • Support what you love.

Planned giving is more than a donation—it’s an investment in creativity and the future of photographic art in the greater Sacramento area. From including Viewpoint in your will or trust; to making a bequest of gifts of stock; to naming Viewpoint as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or investment account; there are many ways to leave a lasting impact.

Learn more about how you can contribute to a brighter photographic future. Contact our Executive Director, Roberta McClellan at or Board President, David Kalb. Together, we can make a difference in this art form that captures our humanity and preserves it for years to come.

Thank you for helping us build a legacy of excellence.
