As a bud, the bloom warily wraps around itself, as if attempting to conceal from the world. When its short life comes to completion, the once beautiful flower shrivels and its glory is forgotten. In this fallen beauty, Anita saw a reflection…a reflection of her own self with a wry smile. Exploring this fallen beauty allowed her to consider her own mortality and humility.
